Winter Solstice! Merry Christmas from the Faeries! - 16.12.09

We know we've been very quiet lately, but after a busy summer we've taken some time of this winter, mostly sitting in warm hidey-holes, drinking mulled wine. Lovely. Just a quick note to wish you all a very happy winter solstice; ocal FWB fans look out for our friends Hemlock Morris celebrating the Solstice on Monday 21st in Goldington (see Links for details). We already have a string of festival dates lined up for next year - more news to follow in January. For now, have a very lovey Christmas and a good start to 2010!

Samhain, 2009 - The Enchanted Faery Ball!

As you can see, the FWB site has had the obligatory Halloween make-over, as the next important date on the FWB calendar is of course the end of summer festival, Samhain, the start of the 'Celtic Dark Year'. We are delighted to say that we are celebrating this year at the Enchanted Faery Ball in Leicestershire, which not only is a fabulous excuse to get dressed up in your best formal-faery-wear, but also a chance to help support a fabulous cause, as all proceeds from the event are going to 'Coping With Cancer'. We hope you can join us!

We're Back! - 04.08.09

Faeries WEar Boots are back from Castlefest in Holland and are pleased to say it was everything we wished for and more! Just some of the pictures we have are up on the Gallery page, with many more expected shortly from a number of very kind faerie photographers who we met at the festival. A massive thank you to all our new friends, all the dancers, all the people who supported us, the wonderful backstage team and of course, our friends Kaat and Omnia.
