Welcome to the Official Home of Celtic folk-faeries, Faeries Wear Boots...
the 26TH OF NOVEMBER!
Well, another Samhain has been and gone; a few of us Faeries were out celebrating with our good friends at Hemlock Morris in our home town, entertaining the good people of Bedford... you know the Faeries - any excuse to get dressed up and paint our faces!
Thanks to all of the people who came to support us at the Corn Exchange last week while we played the 'pre-gig party' for Mike Harding's show. We were delighted to be able to warm up the crowd for such a legend... Talking of legends, it feels great to have Robby back with us again - though he's off on his travels to the snowy Californian mountains again in December.
But now, the clocks have gone back (here in the UK, anyway...) and the nights are getting darker and colder - BUT, there's still plenty to look forward to! In particular, Riseley Folk Festival on 26th November 2011. Head over to the 'Tour' page now for a link to the website and a chance to buy tickets...
they're selling fast, so don't wait too long...

01.08.11 - Happy Lughnasadh from Faeries Wear Boots!
Lughnasagh marks the first of the three Autumn harvest festivals and the start of the harvest of the fruits that were sown in the Spring. This has to be a near perfect time for FWB to begin assembling ourselves for the performances that lie ahead. We’re looking forward to performing for the first time some of the new music we have been working on and introducing some of the new instrumentation that we have been practicing all through the Spring and Summer. Visit the News page now for a round up of what we've been up to, and where we're off to next!
